Mountain Rose Black

Inspired by the breathtaking Nilgiri mountains and a blooming rose garden during their return from the Glendale tea estate, our team was inspired to encapsulate the same into a tea blend.
This unique tea is processed at the estates of Nilgiri specially for Teabox. The process involves meticulously layering the black tea leaves with delicate jasmine flowers, a painstaking practice requiring the utmost care and attention. This artful infusion is a multi-step journey taking 3-4 days involving numerous rounds of infusion, wherein the black tea leaves lay exposed beneath a canopy of jasmine flowers, allowing the tea to gradually absorb the subtle, mellow essence of the jasmine blossoms.
Once this harmonious infusion is achieved at the estate, the tea is transported to our facility in Siliguri. Post-which our master blenders infuse it with dried rose petals and cardamom, to enhance the tea’s complexity and aroma. An ode to nature’s beauty and grace.
